Let us start out today with a reminder that when we are in Jesus Christ we are set free from the law of sin and death and we are blessed with eternal life in Jesus! We all sin and our sin leads to death (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23) but God, who is rich in mercy, blessed us with His grace and He sent His one and only Son Jesus to die on the cross to save us from our sins! (John 3:16) We deserve punishment and death because of our sins yet God has blessed us with His free gift of salvation in His Son Jesus and this gift is to be received by faith! (Romans 3:25) When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then Jesus lives in our inner being and we are forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins for all of eternity! If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then Jesus Christ lives in your inner being and none of your sins will ever be counted against you! We do not deserve forgiveness but God blessed us with His grace and He blessed us with our faith in His Son! Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV) In Jesus, we have been reconciled to God by the blood of His one and only Son who loves us and gave himself for us! (Galatians 2:20) In our Savior Jesus, we have been forgiven for all of our sins, for all of eternity, and we have been reconciled to God, the God whom we sin against! The God of all creation, the God who created us and the God whom we sin against has reconciled us to Himself by the blood of His one and only Son! God loves us perfectly and He has blessed us with our salvation in His Son even when we deserve death and punishment because of our sin! We have been blessed with God’s free gift of salvation in Jesus, not because of anything we have done but because God loves us and He has called us, He has saved us, He has redeemed us, He has forgiven us and He has blessed us with His perfect grace! We have been blessed with God’s free gift of salvation in His Son! Praise God for we are perfectly blessed in our Savior Jesus!

We know that we do not deserve forgiveness and we do not deserve God’s grace, but God is rich in mercy and He has blessed us with His grace and called us to eternal life in His Son! Since we have been blessed with this calling, let us live as those who have been called to eternal life in Jesus! Let us live to glorify the God who created us, the God who called us, the God who saved us and the God who appointed us to eternal life! Micah 6:8 says “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (NIV) As we read in Micah, we are instructed to walk humbly with our God. Praise God that we have Jesus living in our inner being, as children of God who believe in His Son, and praise God for blessing us with our faith in His Son and our salvation in Him! We must be humble! We have been perfectly blessed with everything that we do not deserve in Jesus and we have been redeemed from sin and the death we do deserve because of our sin! We have been perfectly blessed by our God who loves us and who saved us in His grace! As Galatians 6:14 says “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. (NIV) It is through Jesus and His sacrifice of death on the cross to save us from our sin that we are forgiven, we are forgiven in Him and in Him alone we receive salvation for our souls! As children of God who believe in Jesus, we have Jesus living in our inner being and He is our life! Galatians 2:20 says “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (NIV) It is in Jesus that we are saved, it is in Jesus that we are forgiven, and it is in Jesus that we receive eternal life in Him! In Jesus we have been blessed with everything that we do not deserve for all of eternity so let us humbly praise our God for those perfect endless blessings and let us walk humbly with Him glorifying Him in every way!

We read in James 4:6 that “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” (NIV) We must be humble, for all of the perfect blessings to which we have been called in our Savior Jesus are blessings that we do not deserve and blessings that God has blessed us with in His grace. As children of God, Jesus lives in our inner being and it is God who works in us to do His will. (Philippians 2:13) All of the good in us is Christ in us and praise God for this blessing, for since Christ is the good in us the good in us will never cease or fail! God is constantly sharing His love and truth with all those around us! God always knows exactly what we need and He will always bless us with exactly what we need in each moment of our life according to His will. God’s will is always done and He always works everything out for the good of His children! (Romans 8:28) Even struggles in our lives are blessings and through those struggles God is strengthening us, teaching us and shaping us further into the child of God that He has created us to be. We are being taught by the God who created all things, including us, and the God who saved us, redeemed us and called us to eternal life in His Son! So praise God when you experience struggles, for He is blessing you perfectly according to His will. He is working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28) and He is sanctifying you to be more like your Savior Jesus! If you are struggling, then humble yourself before your God. Go to Him in prayer and cast all of your troubles on Him. (1 Peter 5:7) Ask God to humble you and to bless you according to His will. Commit yourself to God and His will and continue to do good! (1 Peter 4:19) Ask God to make you faithful in keeping His commands and living to glorify Him in every way and remember to believe that you have what you are asking for in prayer and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) God is faithful even when we are not and He knows your heart and He knows exactly what you need. God will always bless you with exactly what you need in each moment of your life and He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20) So as 1 Peter 5:6 says “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (NIV) Remember, God is faithful, His will is always done and He is working all things out for your good! (Romans 8:28) You are perfectly blessed in your Savior Jesus so enjoy being a child of God and walk humbly with your God praising Him for this blessed life to which He has called you!

Another important thing to remember as we walk humbly with our God is to see others as we should. We don’t deserve God’s grace because of our sin and no one is perfect, we all sin and we all need Jesus! Praise God that we have been set free from sin and death in our Savior Jesus and praise God that, in Jesus, none of our sins will ever be counted against us! We don’t deserve any of those perfect blessings but God has blessed us perfectly in His grace. We have been blessed to become children of God in our Savior Jesus and we must see others through the eyes of a child of God because that is what we are! No one is perfect and we all need Jesus, so let us remember that we do not deserve the forgiveness we have been blessed with in Jesus and let us remember that we ourselves are sinners who have been redeemed by the grace of God! Let us have mercy on others for God had mercy on us! As children of God who believe in Jesus, we have Jesus living in our inner being and Jesus is the light of life! (John 1:4) Jesus is the light of life, He lives in our inner being and His light is always shining in us and through us for all those around us to see! Let your light shine and share the love of Jesus with all those around you! Forgive others and be compassionate! For we are children of God and He is our Heavenly Father! We praise our Heavenly Father, for He is the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort! (2 Corinthians 1:3) Praise God that He has compassion on us and that He forgave us our sins in Jesus! We are instructed by God to forgive as God forgave us! (Colossians 3:13) So as Philippians 2:3 says “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, (NIV)

Praise God that you have been called to walk with the God of all creation with His Son Jesus living in your inner being as your personal Lord and Savior! Praise God that He has called you to the blessed life to which you live in your Savior Jesus! Enjoy each step of the walk with your God and walk humbly with Him for as Colossians 1:13 says “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, (NIV)
