The Word of God January 2025 Scripture Writing/Reading Plan

Good News Indeed

Happy New Year 2025! I pray that all of you have been blessed with much growth in the Lord in this past year that has just concluded and I will continue to pray that each of you will be blessed abundantly in this upcoming year. I am confident in the Lord and know that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21) and I praise the Lord our God for He is faithful and He will continue to supply our every need and bless us according to His perfect will! I praise God that He is always working in all things for His glory and for our good (Romans 8:28), the good of His precious dearly loved children whom the Lord our God has blessed with faith in Jesus Christ our Savior (Ephesians 2:8-9) through Whom we have received eternal forgiveness for our sins! I pray that God will bless each person that comes across this blog with eye’s to see and ear’s to hear the Word of God that is being shared and that God will bless each person with understanding in His Word. I pray that those who have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savor will come to understand their need for Jesus and be blessed with faith in Jesus Christ so that they too may receive eternal life and eternal forgiveness for all of their sins in Jesus Christ our Savior!

My heart is full of joy and overflowing with praise to the Lord our God! For the Lord our God is the author of life and it is from His hand and His hand alone that all blessings come. The Bible tells us that all Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching us in every way so that we may be well equipped to live this life that God has given us in a manner that brings Him glory. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) The Bible is God’s Word, the Gospel of our salvation! As we begin this new year, I pray that God will bless us all with a desire to spend time in His Word in increasing measure! The Bible tells us in James 1 that we must be faithful in reading and studying God’s Word as well as faithfully doing what the Word of God instructs us to do. (James 1:22-25) We are to read and study God’s Word and we must also do what it says. I pray that God will enable us to be faithful in doing what His Word instructs us to do. God commands us to read His Word and also to meditate on His Word day and night. (Joshua 1:8) We are to read God’s Word, meditate on it and do what it says.

I praise God for each of you and I have been so encouraged by the Scripture that we are about to study this month. I pray that you will be greatly encouraged as you study the Scriptures outlined in this Scripture Plan, just as I have been. God speaks to us in His Word and it is a true joy and an incredible blessing to spend time in God’s Word and to be taught by the Lord our God! Praise God that He has led each of you here to share His Word specifically with you!
