This month we have been reminded of the blessing of eternal freedom that we receive when we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior! Only in Jesus can we be set free from sin and death and receive eternal life in Him! Jesus paid the full price for our sin when He died on the cross to save us from our sin and then He rose to life again conquering sin and death for all of eternity! When we believe in Him and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, then we are forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins for all of eternity in Him and we are reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us! Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace!
When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then Jesus lives in our inner being and we are eternally forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins and none of our sins will ever be counted against us! As precious and dearly loved children of God, who have been eternally set free in Jesus, we are called to live a holy life in Him. We are not perfect and we do sin but praise God that none of our sins will ever be counted against us in our Savior Jesus! In Jesus we have been set free to be free! As Galatians 5:1 says “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free so do not burden yourself again with sin or by wallowing in guilt and shame because of your sinful nature! Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, who has set you free from sin and death for all of eternity! When we do sin we must humbly go before God in prayer and confess our sins to Him, asking Him to forgive us our sins, and then we must let it go knowing that in Jesus we are eternally forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins! Do not hold on to the guilt and shame of your sin, relinquish it to God and praise Him for the eternal forgiveness you have in His Son Jesus, your personal Lord and Savior! You are already forgiven for each and every one of your sins in your Savior Jesus and, in Jesus, you can freely go before the Lord your God knowing that you are eternally forgiven and not a single one of your sins will ever be counted against you! Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace! Do not focus on your sinful nature and your imperfections, be humble acknowledging that you are in fact a sinner who doesn’t deserve the grace of God but don’t dwell on your imperfections! Rest in Jesus knowing that in Him you are eternally forgiven and you have been reconciled to God by the blood His one and only Son who loves you and gave Himself for you so that you could enjoy this blessed eternal life to which you have been called in Him!
Be encouraged with the fact that as a child of God, who believes in Jesus, Jesus lives in your inner being and it is God who works in you to do His will. (Philippians 2:13) God always knows exactly what you need in each moment of your life and He will always bless you with exactly what you need in each moment of your life! God always works all things out for the good of His children! (Romans 8:28) God’s will is always done and He is in control of all things! So do not fret and do not be discouraged, God is faithful, even when we are not, and He is always working in you and through you to do His will! Humbly go before the Lord your God and ask Him to make you faithful in keeping His commands and always living a life that glorifies Him in every way, and remember, He will do it! Remember to believe that you have what you are asking for in prayer and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24)
Enjoy this blessed life to which you have been called in your Savior Jesus and do not dwell on your imperfections and your sinful nature! You are imperfect but you have your perfect Savior, Jesus, living in your inner being as your personal Lord and Savior and in Him none of your sins will ever be counted against you! God knows that you have that sinful nature and He is the One who sent His one and only Son to die on the cross to save you from that sin so that you could spend eternity in heaven with Him! So do not fret, God created you, He saved you and redeemed you and He has appointed you to eternal life in your Savior Jesus! It is done, it is finished, and Jesus paid the full price for you conquering sin and death for you! Do not focus on your sinful nature, when you sin confess your sins to God and let it all go knowing that you are forgiven for each and every one of your sins for all of eternity in your Savior Jesus! You are already forgiven in Jesus so do not burden yourself again with the guilt and shame of your sin! Let it go and give it to God praising Him for your Savior Jesus and the eternal forgiveness you have in Him! Stand firm in Jesus! Enjoy being a child of God who has been appointed to eternal life in Jesus and focus your eyes and yourself on Him for He lives in you and He is your life! (Colossians 3:4) Rejoice in the Lord for you are eternally set free with not a thing to fear in Jesus! Enjoy this blessed eternal life to which God has called you in your Savior Jesus and be careful to faithfully serve Him in every way!
