Last week we were encouraged with the fact that we can be eternally set free in our Savior Jesus! Now if we have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then Jesus lives in our inner being and we have been forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins for all of eternity, we have received eternal life in Him and He has eternally set us free from sin and death! Now that Jesus is living in our inner being, as our personal Lord and Savior, we are no longer slaves to sin! Jesus lives in us and He is our life! Galatians 2:20 says that “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (NIV) We have died to sin and now we are alive to God in Christ Jesus! (Romans 6:11) Jesus has redeemed us from sin and death and He has reconciled us to God by the shedding of His blood for us! We deserve death and punishment because of our sins, but God is rich in mercy and He has blessed us with His free gift of salvation in His Son Jesus, even though we do not deserve it, and this free gift from God is to be received by faith. (Romans 3:25) Praise God for blessing us with His perfect grace and praise God for blessings us with our faith in His one and only Son! Jesus lives in our inner being and we live to glorify the God who created us, the God who saved us, the God who redeemed us and the God who has called us to eternal life in His Son!
Romans 6:9-11 says “For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (NIV) Jesus conquered sin and death for us and Jesus paid the full price for us! Now we are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus! Jesus lives in our inner being and He is our life! (Colossians 3:4) The life we live, we live for God! Romans 6:17-18 says “But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. (NIV) In our Savior Jesus, we are no longer slaves to sin and we have been blessed with eternal life in Him! We have been blessed with God’s grace, even though we do not deserve it, and we have been reconciled to God by the blood of His Son! Romans 6:20-23 says that “When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV) You have been blessed with the free gift from God that is eternal Salvation in His one and only Son who loved you and gave himself for you, dying on the cross to save you from your sins! Jesus lives in your inner being and He is your life and He is your righteousness! 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (NIV) Praise God for blessing you with everything that you do not deserve in your Savior Jesus and praise God for the sacrifice Jesus made for you so that you could be set free! Now Praise God for the eternal freedom that He has blessed you with in your Savior Jesus and be careful to always live your life to glorify God in every way! Remember, you have been set free from sin, in your Savior Jesus, and sin is no longer your master! As Romans 6:14 says “For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. (NIV) Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace!
Be encouraged with the fact that if Jesus lives in your inner being as your personal Lord and Savior, then you have everything that you need in Him to live a life that glorifies God! (Ephesians 1:3) It is God who works in you to do His will, (Philippians 2:13) and His will is always done! So do not be discouraged! God is faithful even when we are not! We are sinful and we do sin but praise God that none of our sins will ever be counted against us in our Savior Jesus! When you do sin, you must humbly go before the Lord your God in prayer and confess your sins to Him and ask Him to forgive you for our sins, and remember, in Jesus you are in fact eternally forgiven for all of your sins! As Ephesians 3:12 says “In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. (NIV) So do not hold on to your sin or the guilt of your sin! Jesus paid the full price for you and, because of Him, you can freely go before your God knowing that you are already forgiven for all of your sins because of your Savior Jesus who lives in you! So do not hold on to your sins, confess your sins to your God and relinquish that guilt because Jesus paid the full price for you and you are eternally forgiven in Him! Ask God to make you to be faithful in keeping His commands and ask Him to make you to be faithful in living to glorify Him in every way according to His will! Remember to believe that you have what you are asking for in prayer and it will be yours! (Mark 11:24) And remember God is faithful and He will do it! God’s will is always done and He always works all things out for the good of His children! (Romans 8:28)
So now that you have been eternally set free in your Savior Jesus, through faith in Him and His sacrifice for you, you have Jesus living in your inner being and you are to live your life for God! You have been set free from sin and death in your Savior Jesus and He now lives in you! Jesus is your life and He has redeemed you for all of eternity, reconciling you to God by the shedding of His blood for your sins! You are free from sin and death and now you live for your God who has called you to eternal life in His Son! Be faithful in keeping God’s commands and living to glorify your God! You have been blessed with eternal life in your Savior Jesus, even though you do not deserve it, so live a life that is worthy of the blessed eternal calling that you have received in Jesus! And always remember, God is faithful even when you are not and it is God who works in you to do His will! (Philippians 2:13) God always knows exactly what you need and He will always bless you with exactly what you need in each moment of your life! You have everything that you need to live your life in a manner that glorifies God with your Savior Jesus living in you! (Ephesians 1:3) Jesus is your life! (Colossians 3:4) You are perfectly and eternally blessed in your Savior Jesus and He is living in your inner being always working in you and through you to glorify God! Jesus is constantly sharing His truth and love with others through you! So enjoy being a child of God and enjoy the freedom that He has blessed you with in His one and only Son! Celebrate that blessed freedom by living a life that glorifies your Heavenly Father in every way!
