God has brought you here today and He is working in your heart and in your life this very moment! God loves you perfectly as you are and He knows you even better than you know yourself, for He created your inmost being! God wants you to come to Him Just as you are in this very moment and submit yourself and your life to Him! What are you longing for today? Is anything troubling you? Are you holding onto anything that is wearing you down? You are in the right place no matter where you are because God is always right there with you and there is not a single place that we can go to escape Him and His presence! You can relinquish all of your fears and troubles to God, lay them all at His feet and let go of whatever is wearing you down. God always loves you perfectly as you are in each moment of your life even with all of your flaws and imperfections and sinful ways, He knows them all and He loves you perfectly as you are! We are instructed in 1 Peter 5:7 to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (NIV) Cast all of your anxiety on God, no one cares for you like He does and only He is able to carry all of your burdens.
What is it that troubles you? What is wearing you down? Do you feel guilt? Shame? Fear? Whatever it is, God is with you and you can relinquish it all to Him. Humbly go before God in prayer. Be still and ask God to search your heart and your inner being, ask God to rid you of any offensive way and ask Him to cleanse you of all your sinful ways. As Psalm 139:24 says “See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (NIV) Be honest with yourself and with God. God already knows your heart and every bit of your inner being better than you do so there is no concealing anything from Him. As Hebrews 4:13 says “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (NIV) There is a difference between saying that you are letting go of something and actually sincerely letting go of it. Sincerely humble yourself before God and relinquish yourself and all that troubles you to the God who created you and who loves you perfectly as you are. Commit yourself and your life to Him. Invite Him into your inner being and ask Him to rid you of your sins and forgive you for your sins and commit yourself to your Creator! As Psalm 38:18 says “I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. (NIV) God has brought you here, He is working in you and He is ready and patiently waiting to take all of your burdens and carry them for you! Do not wait and do not hold back! Sincerely let go of everything and submit to God and His will for you! As Psalm 143:8 says “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. (NIV) You will never know a greater love than the love of God, for God is love! (1 John 4:8) God is there with you now and He is able to rid you of all offensive ways and He is able to remove your guilt and shame. Commit your life to the God who created you and the God who has called you here to His Word and truth.
No one is perfect and we all sin. (Romans 3:23) Our sin separates us from God and our sin leads to death. (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23) It is God alone who we sin against. (Psalm 51:4) There is only one way to be forgiven for all of our sins and be reconciled to God and receive salvation for our souls and that is to admit that we are sinners and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV) Romans 10:9 says that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (NIV) Only in Jesus can we be set free from sin and death and receive eternal life in Him! If you have come to understand and admit that you are a sinner and you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from your sins and that He rose to life again, then you can invite Jesus Christ into your heart and your life as your personal Lord and Savior. You can pray a prayer like this:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner and that I need Jesus to save me. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save me from my sins and that He rose to life again. God I am sorry for my sin. I invite Jesus Christ into my heart and my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I commit my life to you.
In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
If you prayed a prayer like this and invited Jesus Christ into your heart and life as your personal Lord and Savior, then you have become a child of God and Jesus lives in your inner being! In Jesus you have been forgiven for all of your past, present and future sins for all of eternity and you have the assurance of eternal life in Jesus! Praise God for His perfect love and His endless grace!
If Jesus Christ is living in your inner being as your personal Lord and Savior, then continue to humbly go before God and submit yourself to His will. God is in control of all things and His will is always done! Praise God that His will is always done for He knows what is best for us even though we do not and He always blesses us perfectly according to His will! God works all things out for the good of His children! (Romans 8:28) If Jesus is living in your inner being as your personal Lord and Savior, then you are forgiven for all of your past, present and future sins for all of eternity! Jesus paid the full price for you! It is done! Stop holding on to the guilt of your sin and let it go! Jesus has set you free to be free! (Galatians 5:1) Don’t burden yourself again with the guilt of your past sins! God has redeemed you and called you to eternal life! Focus on that incredible blessing and focus your eyes and yourself on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith who has redeemed you from sin and death for all of eternity! Focus on the grace of God and enjoy the blessed life to which He has called you in His Son! Don’t focus on your sinful nature, focus on Jesus who conquered sin and death for you! Pray to God and ask Him to make you live your life to glorify Him and ask Him to make you faithful in keeping His commands! God is faithful and it is God who works in us to do His will. (Philippians 2:13) Believe that you have what you are asking for in prayer and it will be yours! (Mark 11:24) And when you do sin, humbly go before God in prayer and acknowledge and admit your sin to Him and ask God to forgive you for your sin. Then know that in Jesus you are already forgiven by the grace of God! Don’t beat yourself up over your sin but praise God that in Jesus you are forgiven for your sin even though you don’t deserve it! Praise God and focus on Him and His grace while living your life for the God who created you, the God who called you, and the God who saved you and appointed you to eternal life in His Son! Go forth rejoicing in the Lord and enjoying this blessed life to which God has called you in His grace! And remember God daily bears your burdens! Let go and give it to God! As Psalm 68:19 says “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. (NIV)
